REFLECTIONS OF BEAUTY
A Collection of Yue Fu Poetries, which was compiled in the Han Dynasty, included Idylls of a girl named Mulan, in which depicted a beautiful girl dressing herself up before a mirror. The literary allusion brings our thoughts to the resplendent and dreamlike pieces before us. In our imagination, a girl with false moles on her cheeks combed her thick hair by her fair hand. She looked through the bronze mirror and realized a wonderful metaphor of " flower in the mirror, moon in the water". Back to reality, this historical scene in which a maiden and a bronze mirror gazed at and shined upon each other was vividly reproduced by two green emerald jadeite cabochons. Two threads of tassel lined with diamonds spiral down, which sparkle with glorious beauteousness.
This pair of 18K white gold diamond earrings was finished in October 2016. Set with two emerald jadeite cabochons weigh 40.394 carats, in addition to 272 crystal clear diamonds weigh 5.844 carats.
